E-MEDIAVISION.COM ANNOUNCES PURCHASE OF BROAD-SAT.COM LTD

IBC, Amsterdam (September 10): e-mediavision.com has announced the completion of its purchase, for an undisclosed sum, of Broad-Sat.com Ltd, the broadcast satellite systems integrator which specialises in turnkey solutions for the satellite and broadcast industry, corporate audio visual and CCTV command and control markets.

Martin Coleman, Technical Director and John Pepper, Design Director, remain at Broad-Sat.com. As part of the design team both have successfully completed systems projects which include National Operations Centre/Payload Operations Centre for New Skies Satellite, The Hague; Eutelsat, Paris and the New Skies Washington media port in Virginia, USA, as well as projects for Sislink, and Inmedia. Kash Acharya, Managing Director with Peter Butler and Darren Orr from e-mediavision.com complete the senior Broad-Sat.com management team.

Commenting on the purchase Kash Acharya, said, “The Broad-Sat.com team are known to their clients for innovative development of solutions. Maintaining this strategy of not tying clients to a single product source but tailoring solutions to suit individual requirements will enhance and extend the reach of both companies. Having worked with Broad-Sat.com Ltd on a number of projects, I believe that the acquisition will provide customers with innovative and impartial solutions from a team whose combined knowledge, experience and expertise is second to none.”

Commenting on the take-over, John Pepper, said, “With the addition of the e-mediavision.com expertise Broad-Sat.com can extend its package of solutions and incorporate it into an ergonomically designed environment. We will be able to offer support and advice on content creation management through to distribution and broadcast.”

The total solution approach encompasses all the elements of media control from content delivery and distribution through to the transmission broadcast chain. Broad-Sat.com systems engineers are not tied to any exclusive products and therefore can select the most suitable and cost effective equipment specifications to comply with the customer’s budgets and requirements.
